St Marks parish employs a community development officer whom among many things is responsible for St Marks Community Halls, administering the hiring of the three halls and facilities attached to the church.

The halls are available to the local community for a variety of uses. St Marks Parish use the halls for social action projects such as youth clubs and providing a weekly base for the Hackney Winter Night Shelter.
